About the role:
You can expect to undertake various duties including but not limited to, Personal Care (full training and buddy shifts provided), Manual Handling, Social Support, Transport, Meal Preparation, Domestic Assistance in home and Record Keeping. This is an essential aspect of the role.
Applicants need to be aware that these positions will involve shifts work especially sleepovers and weekend work - with attractive penalty rates included!
Casual positions may lead to Part Time depending on availability and ongoing reliability.

What will you needWe are seeking experienced Support Workers who are passionate about helping people live the life they want. While we value dedication and shared values above all, having prior experience in support work is essential for this role. As part of the onboarding process, you will need: - Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or Yellow Card and a Working with Children Blue Card or be willing to obtain (Cootharinga will happily assist in obtaining necessary clearances if successful)
- An Open Drivers License and own vehicle
- First Aid Certificate and CPR within the last 12 months or willing to obtain
- NDIS Worker Quality Orientation - Free to obtain (https://training.ndiscommission.gov.au/)
